As a celebrant …
Throughout my working life I have been involved with helping people to get to the next step in one way or another. Sometimes its as a life coach and at others as a celebrant.  I trained with the New Zealand Celebrant School and whilst I enjoyed officating at weddings, I have decided not to do that anymore, and instead, give my attention to helping you deal with the passing of a loved one. It is a time of great adjustment and the celebration of their life is an important event. I consider it a great honour to help you through such difficult times and to help you have the event you want when it comes to celebrating the life of the person who has passed away. My aim as a celebrant is to make this as gentle and meaningful for you as possible. I live on the Hibiscus Coast, in North Auckland, and offer my services in this area. Call me to have a chat, or we can meet for coffee, then you can decide for yourself if we are a good “fit” and if you’d like me to be of assistance to you. I am told that I am compassionate by nature, non-judgemental, an excellent listener, empathic, warm, genuine, caring, supportive, reliable, professional, organised and fun-loving. Call me to have a chat, we can meet for coffee, and you decide for yourself if we are a good “fit” and if you’d like me to help you with this special event.
“Christine recently officiated at my mother’s funeral service. “Covid 19 has presented us with many unknown challenges and holding a service eight weeks after my Mum’s passing was difficult for all.  Christine handled everything with the planning that was needed in an empathetic and caring manner with great respect for both family and friends alike. “She helped to make our day incredibly special to finally be able to say farewell to Mum. “My family and I would recommend Christine without hesitation.” - Sue Brailey
“My step father recently passed away after suffering from deteriorating health for some time. We asked Christine to be the celebrant at his funeral and her empathy and kindness was much appreciated. “Christine is very professional in her work, and her attention to detail made the planning for the funeral that much easier. She was supportive and encouraging, and my family and I would readily recommend her to anyone facing such a difficult time.” - Kathy Duncan
